Brussels has three main train stations: Bruxelles Midi-Brussels Zuid, to the south of the city core, Bruxelles Central-Brussels Centrals, which is right next to the city centre, and Bruxelles Nord-Brussels Nord, to the north of the city center. Unfortunately, high-speed trains stop only at Midi/Zuid, so you need to take the tram (or an ordinary train) a few stops north to get to Grand Place.
